Mrs. Mamie Lee Crooms Temple died Monday, July 16, 2007 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. She was 53.
A graveside service for Mrs. Temple will be Friday, July 20, 2007 at 10 A.M. in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Sister Brenda Yon offciating and Ward-Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday, July 19, 2007 from 6 to 8 P.M. At other times the family will be gathered at the home of Mrs. Temples daughter, Carrie Phillips.
Mrs. Temple was born in Houston, County on August 21, 1953, the daughter of the late Coy Crooms and Janie Moats Crooms. Mrs. Temples joy came from her family, especially her beloved daughter and grandson. She loved spending time with her many friends.
She is preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Mrs. Temple leaves behind her daughter, Carrie Phillips and her husband Jimmie from Pansey, sister, Pearl Crooms from Ashford, brothers, Jody Crooms and his wife Audrey from Pansey, Curtis Crooms and his wife Maxine from Pansey, grandson, Jacob Phillips, several nieces and nephews, special friends, Evelyn Isbell, Sharon Ecker, Bonnie Miles, Jackie Temple and Kay Ingram.
