Mrs. Lillie B. Moore, a resident of Wesley Manor passed away Thursday, July12, 2007.She was 96.
Funeral services will be 10am Thursday July 19, 2007 from the Ward-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend John Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Harpers Joy Cemetery under the direction of Ward-Wilson Funeral Home.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday, July 18, 2007 from 6 to 8 P.M.
Mrs. Moore was born in Houston County on April 14, 1911, the daughter of the late Ed Davis and Nellie Anderson Davis. She was in housekeeping for over 38 years. She loved crocheting, cooking, fishing, and reading her bible.
Her true passion came from spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Alonzo Morris and Calvin Hughes, son, Robert Edward Morris, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Moore leaves behind to cherish her memories, daughters, Martha Ladine Swarts and her husband Boyd of Long Grove, Iowa, Janice Moran of Merrit Island, Florida, thirteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren.
