Milton "Brad" Bradberry

Milton "Brad" Bradberry (US Army Ret.) of Dothan passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at his residence after an extended illness. He was 78. Funeral services will be Saturday in Faith Tabernacle Community Church at 2 p.m. with the Revs. Tommy Martin and Ronald Vann officiating. Burial with full Military Honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Park. Flowers are being accepted and can be delivered to Sunset at 1808 Barrington Rd. Mr. Bradberry was born June 3, 1929, in Boaz and lived the early years of his life there. He served 20 years in the U.S. Army and was a World War II and Korean Conflict veteran prior to his retirement in 1967. Mr. Bradberry was later employed with the Alabama State of Alabama as a State Trooper for several years. He resided in Ozark prior to moving to Dothan in 1990. Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Joyce Bradberry of Dothan; a step-son, William Tankersley and his wife Nicola of Atlanta; a step-daughter, Deborah Ann Whitehead and her husband Tommy of Midland City; brother-in-law and sister-in-laws, Robert and Helen Taylor of Dothan and Sarah Taylor of Dothan; three grandchildren, Ben Tankersley, Dan Tankersley and Ethan "Kade" Tankersley; a brother, Swint Bradberry and his wife Elizabeth of Akin, S.C; a sister-in-law, Jo Bradberry of Albertville; several nieces and nephews.
