However, through RF Tech communication, Heath/Zenith has changed all of that with the introduction of Wireless Command Lighting Controls.
Heath/Zenith, an innovator in lighting technology, has revolutionized home lighting with their wireless remote technology. Using the Heath/Zenith wireless technology can make life easier at your house. The Wireless Command System uses transmitters and receivers to operate lights.
The unit can be programmed so that when the alarm rings in the morning, the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen lights turn on automatically and will turn off when everyone leaves the home for the day.
When returning home at the end of the day, the motion sensor detects your arrival and turns on welcoming lights inside and outside your home. When sitting down to watch television, the family room lights can be dimmed and the outside security lights can be turned on from the comfort of your favorite chair.
When it’s time to retire for the evening, push a button on the nightstand and turn off all lights inside and outside.
If you’re awakened at night by strange noises, push the panic button and lights on the system will flash.
The Wireless Command System uses transmitters and receivers to operate lights. The homeowner can turn on lights on, off or dim them from up to 100 feet away. The system can control up to 16 lights.
Several transmitters are currently available including a wireless motion sensor that turns lights on when motion is detected and off when motion ceases.
Wireless Command receivers can make virtually any lights remote controlled. Plug-in and screw-in receivers make installation easy with no electrical wiring required.
Heath/Zenith Wireless Command Lighting Controls are affordable, easy to install and simple to operate. Retail prices start at $15 and range to $50 for a kit with several items.
