HOP-IN ON COTTONWOOD ROAD ROBBED

A Dothan store was a target of an early morning robbery yesterday. The Hop-In store on Cottonwood Road across from the Farm Center was held up about 5:15 a. m. Police reports say that a man walked into the store with a club, robbed the clerk, and then forced the clerk into the back room of the store. The suspect then reportedly took the clerk`s truck which was recovered a short time later at an East Dothan motel. Police are interviewing witnesses and suspects in the case, but no charges have been filed.
