A familiar face to the Dothan City Commission has officially announced he will seek re-election.
James Reading realizes that it takes a team effort to move a district and city forward, and he wants to be on that team for District 1 for another four years.
The theme of Readings campaign this year is, (quote) "May the work I`ve done speak for me." (unquote)
During his service on the commission, Mr. Reading has been instrumental in eliminating black-outs in his district by adding additional power grids.
Currently, Community Development Block Grant monies are being removed from the Housing Authority, and placed in the hands of the city manager, mayor and commission.
Voting for the city commissioners will be held June 12th.
