A teacher from Ozark goes before a Judge in Dale County, facing drug charges. Harriet McFarland was arrested in Ozark at a routine check point last summer, after police allegedly found almost 2 grams of marijuana in her possession. She is employed with the Dale County School Board, as a Special Education teacher. McFarland appeared in front of Judge Trawick yesterday, and was found "not guilty" on all charges. Her lawyer Stephen Glassroth was excited with the verdict, and satisfied that justice had been served. The Judge did say however, that a flaw in the investigation is what led to the charges being dismissed.
