U. S. SUPREME COURT RULES DEATH PENALTY FOR JUVENILES UNCONSTITUTIONAL

The U. S. Supreme Court decided to ban the execution of juvenile murderers, yesterday. That move will spare thirteen of Alabama`s death row inmates. Alabama Attorney General Troy King says the high court`s ruling is unfair to victims. By a 5-4 vote, the Justices ruled the death penalty for juveniles is unconstitutional, meaning that teenagers who commit murder when they are under 18 years of age cannot be executed. King disagrees with the ruling saying it allows some criminals to get away with murder.
