ARE YOU A SINGER...THEN YOU MAY ENTER TALENT SEARCH

If you like to sing, get your vocal cords in shape...you could be headed to New York. Movie Gallery and the Dothan Professional Tennis Organization are in the process of looking for someone to sing The National Anthem at the U. S. Open Tennis Tournament in New York. To enter you have to be at least 16 years old, and you must provide a tape or CD of you singing two songs, one of which must the the "Star Spangled Banner." You can send the tape to The Dothan Department of Leisure Services, P. O. Box 2128, Dothan, Al. 36302. Twenty semi-finalists will be announced by April 1st. The winner, along with the runner-up, will be announced on April 22nd. To obtain a copy of the rules and regulations, visit www.dothanprotennis.org.
