SEVERE WEATHER WEEK

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
This week is Severe Weather Week, and our state and schools are making sure they are ready for whatever mother nature brings their way. The Alabama Emergency Management Agency and the National Weather Service sponsored a tornado drill in area schools yesterday. The Dothan/Houston County EMA began the drill at 9 a.m. for all public and private schools throughout the county. The drill is designed to remind faculty and students what to do in case of an actual severe weather event.
