The investigation surrounding the Dothan Police Department and former Chief John White may now be out of the City Personnel Board`s hands, but the bills for legal services are not.
At yesterday`s City Commission agenda, was a review of new invoices from the law firm of Hardwick, Hause & Segrest, in regard to the Personnel Board`s investigation.
Commissioners went into executive session for almost a half-hour, and then came back and voted to keep the invoices off the agenda until City Manager Mike West makes his report on the investigation.
Many of the city commission have been reluctant about paying the invoices until more detailed information is provided to them.
