LOCAL MAN ARRESTED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE & ATTEMPTED MURDER

A man is in serious trouble, after a series of crimes he allededly committed over the weekend. It all started on Friday night when a Dothan woman claimed she was sexually assaulted by a co-worker. Dewain Pouncy is the man accused of the crime. Police say after he and the woman had drinks in the suspect`s home, the woman felt threatened, and told Pouncy to back off, and then things got out of hand. Just hours after that incident, the same suspect was allegedly involved in a shooting at a Dothan nightclub, which left three people injured. Pouncy is being charged with three counts of attempted murder after he shot several rounds into an occupied behicle around 1:00 A.M. on Saturday. It happened at the Plum Lounge, which is located at the intersection of Montgomery Highway and Blackshear Street, in the Piggly Wiggly parking lot. Two of the victims have since been released from the Medical Center. The other victim remains there, condition unknown. Pouncy is being held in the Houston County Jail under a 300-thousand dollar bond.
