SESSIONS INTRODUCING BILL FOR HIGH TROOP BENEFITS

A Bill to increase combat death benefits for U.S. soldiers has been fast-tracked in the U.S. Senate. The Bill, sponsored by Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions, raises death benefits for G. I. families to $100-thouand. Sessions` office announced Friday, that Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist is making the Bill a key legislative priority for 2005. Three years ago, before the United States went to war in Afghanistan, total death benefits for U.S. Service Personnel were $6 thousand.
