Updated: January 7, 2009
If you plan to book a flight out of Dothan`s Regional Airport, get ready to save some big bucks. Delta Airlines, the third largest U. S. carrier, announced yesterday that they are cutting fares by as much as fifty percent for travel in the continental U. S. The Atlanta based airline, which is the only airline to fly out of the circle city, made the decision due to high costs, weak revenue, high fuel prices, and competition from discount carriers. Delta also says it will unveil other changes including improvements to it`s Delta.com website, and revising the food it served aboard flights.
