KINSEY POLICE CHIEF PLACED ON ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE

Kinsey Police Chief Keith Whitehead was placed on paid administrative leave Monday night, as town officials look into an altercation that he was involved in at a Dothan restaurant. The incident took place on Saturday night at the Kings Inn...Whitehead allegedly got into an argument while attending a christmas party there. He was asked to leave and when confronted by Dothan police he became beligerent. Police reports say he had been drinking at the time. Kinsey Mayor Jason Reneau said the matter will be investigated, adding that they don`t want to jump to conclusions.
