IVAN DISASTER RELIEF

It has been almost three months since Hurricane Ivan came sweeping through our state, and many are still picking up the pieces. If you suffered loss or damage as a result of Ivan, you now have less than a month to apply for Federal Disaster assistance. More than 151-thousand have applied for assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency...the deadline to register is January 3rd. Individuals can begin the disaster application process by calling the toll-free registration number, 1-800-621-FEMA, or by registering on line at www.fema.gov. Phone lines are open every day from 8AM to 10PM.
