HOUSTON COUNTY VOTERS GO TO THE POLLS IN RUNOFF OF DISTRICT ONE COUNTY COMMISSION SEAT

Today is the runoff election to decide who will sit in the District One County Commission seat. Two candidates are vying for the position. Curtis Harvey, who is assistant pastor of Greater Beulah Baptist Church is trying for the second time to represent District One. Ed Vaughn, the other candidate, says Harvey lacks the experience, and that his experience as a former House State of Representative makes him the smartest choice for District One members. Harvey said that there are some fundamental changes needed in the county and his willingness to learn, coupled with his work ethic, makes him the best candidate.
