FLU VACCINATIONS

Updated: January 7, 2009
Last month when the Health Department received it`s first shipment, only 540 doses were given out over a four-day period. Yesterday, the county received 44 hundred doses, and they moved the distribution site to Westgate Park. If your last name begins with A-K, your chance was yesterday...but today, those names that being with L-Z will be eligible to get a shot. We caught up with the Director of the Health Department who says she still has a few concerns about who the shot is actually given to. If your name begins with A-K, and you missed your shot yesterday, you may still be able to get one today after four o`clock at Westgate, after the others have had their opportunity to get their shot.
