breaking news
Wanda Wright, a resident of Southland Drive in Dothan, says she feels safe living in her neighborhood, especially after finding out she has attentive neighbors who call the police when anything suspicious goes on.
Police responded to a phone call Wednesday night, regarding a break-in on Southland Drive...and 19 year old Eric James Pierce was in the home when police arrived. He bolted out the back door and after a short foot pursuit, police apprehended the suspect.
The police is giving credit to the neighbors for Pierce`s arrest, and said it is encouraging to have neighborhood watches and ask that all community members pay attention to their surroundings.
Pierce was also booked with two other break-ins that occured the night before, and remains in Houston County Jail.
