HOUSTON COUNTY HUMAN RESOURCE RECEIVES HONOR

Houston County Human Resource Department was honored and recognized for it`s very high standards yesterday...being the 64th county to be added to the list of counties in our state, operating under the "R.C. Principals." These are very high standards of child welfare practices. Since the standards began in 1991, the Alabama Department of Human Resources has tripled its child welfare funding, doubled it`s staff, and revamped services for children and families.
