THIRD ANNUAL "PINK LINE EVENT" TOMORROW

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and yesterday, Houston County Commissioners issued a proclamation declaring this Wednesday as "Breast Cancer Awareness Day." The City of Dothan and Houston County, along with several area organizations, have joined hands for the Third Annual Pink Line Event...to draw attention to a disease that takes the lives of 40 thousand woman a year. Officials and community members will come together Wednesday morning at 10:30 at the Wiregrass Museum of Art, to talk about the illness and encourage early detection among area women. They want everyone who attends to wear something pink.
