WIREGRASS RESEARCH & EXTENSION CENTER DEDICATED

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
There is a new home for agricultural research. Their new building on 431 North on the other side of Headland held a ceremony to show off it`s new facilities yesterday. With 1.5 million dollars from the 1998 Agricultural Bond Issue, the 80-thousand-square-foot office building has been built to replace an old inadequate structure which housed extension personnel. The project also provided enough funding to renovate the center`s auditorium roof, and to upgrade the sewer system for the entire station.
