MAYORAL ELECTION COMPAINT IN MIDLAND CITY FILED

There have been some serious charges surounding the recent mayoral election in Midland City. The challenger for mayor, Virgil Skipper filed a complaint alleging that the incumbent Mayor Don Parker mishandled absentee ballots, and "paid" for votes. The margin was razor thin, with Don Parker winning by only seven votes. A Dale County Circuit Court Judge has ordered the Sheriff`s Department to confiscate all documents related to the election.
