A local school board employee will soon have her day in court after being busted recently on marijuana charges. Ozark police are confirming that Harriet McFarland of the Dale County Board of Education was arrested on the 18th of June after police found two bags of a marijuana-like substance. They have since sent the substance off to a lab for analysis. McFarland was charged with possession of marijuana, 2nd degree, and was then released on a 500-dollar bond. Sources tell News 18 that the suspect is still on the job with Dale County School Board. WDHN has tried to contact the Superintendant of Schools in Dale County, but he has not responded. McFarland`s case will go before a Judge on November 2nd.
