SALVATION ARMY NEEDS MORE CANNED GOODS

Although the Salvation Army has held several food drives this year officials say they are still short on certain items to fill the 12 hundred food boxes they will distribute this year to needy families.
The group says the Wiregrass has always been generous but this year because they are trying to put more items inside the food boxes and have more families to help this year the number of canned goods needed has increased. Last year the food boxes went to 11 hundred families with 8 to 10 canned goods per box. This year officials would like to put 15 canned goods together with other items for total of 20 items of food per box.
