CHRISTMAS ADOPTION WISH

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Naomi and Ronald Baldwin of Dothan have one wish this Christmas season and that is to adopt a new born baby from a mother who`s expecting to give birth in Virginia on December 19th. A mother the Baldwin`s say they`ve connected with, without ever meeting her. "Her attorney was telling us when she picked up our profile, before even reading it, she felt something, and as she started to read it she stopped, and said no further, these are the ones I want," says Naomi. Unfortunately, the hopeful parents need more than a connection and love for the unborn child to make their Christmas wish come true--an expense of $4,000.00 they say is out of arms reach. The money the couple needs to move forward with the adoption will cover attorney`s fees, allow the birth mother to stay home to recoup at least six weeks after labor as well as fund any necessary counseling she may need following the adoption process. If you`d like to make a financial donation to help the Baldwin family with their adoption, you can send or drop off your contributions at AM South Bank at 2076 Ross Clark Circle. If you need more information, you may contact Bessie Battle at 334-712-2419.
