O`Christmas Tree, O`Christmas Tree, Which one will it be? The truck is full and so is the lot...Christams trees are everywhere at Holly Branch Farms and Heidi Snell says business has been boomin gthis holiday season. Maureen Johnston is just one of th emany who came to teh farm in hopes of finding the perfect tree, and it didn`t take long before she found what she was looking for... Heidi says there really isn`t such thing as a perfect tree, she says they`re all perfect, it just depends on what you are looking for. "Alot want that thin tree, then lots want that big fat perfect tree, looks like Santa Claus," says Snell. Many people enjoy the tradition of picking out a live tree and they say Christmas just wouldn`t be the same without it. They may tend to be a little messy at times, but there are several reasons for choosing a real one. "Real trees are recycable, they have a scent and aroma. You don`t have to put them away and dust them off. THey can also be used as mulch and fish ponds," says Snell. "It makes it more real...I mean, artificial...we have enough commercialism in Christmas so why not have a real tree?" says Christmas Tree Shopper, Theresa Pinson. Before you and your family make a trip to buy your tree, there are some things you should do before hand, in order to make your shopping alot less complicated. You need to have an idea of where to put it, how much room you have for the tree, and measure your ceilings. Also make sure it is away from all vents and fireplaces. Johnston is putting up three trees in her home this year. She says the scent of a live Christmas tree is what makes the holiday so memorable, as well as tranditional. JANA JACOBS-REPORTER WDHN 18
