Shondra Harrison has been teaching for 5 years. She teaches 8th and 9th grade "Career and Personal Exploration" at Enterprise Junior High School. She understands the important role she plays in students lives.
"I get to help them figure out what they want to do later in life and that`s important because they need to begin thinking about that," says Harrison.
Harrison is not the only one who thinks their future is important. Her students seem to agree.
D`ana Castro says she inspires her to do better and help them begin thinking about their future. She believes their future is extremely important.
Others say she creates an enviornment that makes them feel at ease.
"I relate to her, shes young and easy to talk to and she makes me feel comfortable," says Chelsea Brown.
Another student, Ryan Holder says she teaches "great" and he understands her.
Harrison says she encourages her students to never give up.
"My goal is to inspire them to be the best that they can be,".
Congratulations Ms. Harrision! You are this weeks "Golden Apple Award" winner!
