Updated: January 7, 2009
For some, collecting model trains is a hobby, for others its a job. Danny Lewis, President of the Wiregrass Train Model Historical Society says he`s prepared a long time. "We start work in march, it takes that long to book dealers, send out invitations, etc" Dealers from all over the U.S. are arriving in Dothan today to begin preparing for the 13th Annual Model Railroad Show. It requires a lot of preparation. Dealers bring their own materials and try to make their sets as realistic as possible. Bill Holt, Panama City dealer, said he looks around and tries to incorporate his models to look realistic. They will have 164 tables setup and nine layouts. This is the most they have had in 13 years. Whether you are going to buy items or just simply look around, its definitely something all ages can enjoy. In Dothan, Jana Jacobs WDHN NEWS 18
