DOTHAN POLICE BUSY WRITING TICKETS

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Dothan Police officers are issuing traffic citations by the dozens in school zones. Classes resumed earlier this week and patrol officers have concentrate their efforts in enforcing the reduced speed limits around schools. Captain Jim Smith commented "the number of tickets we have issued may seem exceptionally high but so are the stakes with our children threatened." Reduced speed limits are in effect between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and again between 2:45 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.
