Mr. Daniel "Danny" Lynn Johnston, Sr. of Dothan, Alabama passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Flowers Hospital. He was 53.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 10, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Garry Winstead officiating and with Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am until service time.
Mr. Johnston was born on August 18, 1959 in East Liverpool, OH to the late Louie Edward and Reba Milton Johnston. An avid fisherman, Danny loved the Gulf. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed.
Survivors include six children: Donna Antolik (Ian) of Kinston, Kelly Daum (Jason) of Geneva, Angela Johnston of Hartford, Christie Taylor (Steve Tucker) of Hartford, Daniele Laningham (Jeff) of Lexington, KY and Daniel Lynn Johnston, Jr. of Geneva; three sisters: Edwina Dungan (Steve) of Pensacola, FL, Alisa Wilks (Frank) of Bellwood and Joan Johnston of Phenix City; one brother, Tony Johnston (Deborah) of Dothan; 12 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.
