Linda V. Gill Thompson

Mrs. Linda V. Gill Thompson of Skipperville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2013, at her residence. She was 84.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Concord Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Scott Moffitt officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at the chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home.
Linda Vernell Thompson was born October 28, 1928 in Dale County, Alabama, the daughter of Herbert Wilson Fields and Minnie Susan Bright Fields. Linda was a lifelong native of Dale County, Alabama. She was a faithful member of Concord Congregational Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Webster Foy Gill and Herbert Hoover Thompson.
Survivors include one daughter, Yvonne Susan Howell, of Dothan, AL; one son, Foy Dewayne Gill, of Ozark, AL; two step-sons: Roger Thompson and Herbert Thompson, both of Skipperville, AL; and two grandchildren: Angie Thompson and Bradley Thompson.
