Sara Helen Maund Shehee

Mrs. Sara Helen Maund Shehee of Geneva passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at her residence. She was 92. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home with Dr. Wesley Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Clayhatchee with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
Mrs. Shehee was born in Clayhatchee on February 6, 1921 to the late Lum and Hattie Mae Shirley Maund. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Shehee; two sons, Johnny and Scotty Shehee, and three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by one son, Jimmy Shehee and wife Gwen of Geneva; two grandchildren, Shanna Powell of Geneva, and Derek Shehee and wife Marissa of Prattville, AL; two great grandchildren, Emily and Ashley Powell, and one on the way, Truett Shehee.
