Mrs. Lana Morgan, age 63, a resident of Dothan, died at SAMC Monday, February 25, 2013 following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm (CST) on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Eddie Biss and Chaplain Paul Cowley officiating. Burial will follow in the Blakely City Cemetery in Blakely, GA with Kendall Glover of Glover Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 6:00 pm (CST) to 8:00 pm(CST) at Glover Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the residence 205 Beacon Road, Dothan. Flowers will be accepted.
Ms. Morgan was born on March 5, 1949 in Blakely, GA the daughter of the late Betty Jane Hartley. She worked in the automobile industry.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Sonny Morgan, Dothan; daughters Marie Peagler, Dothan; and Lana Kirkland (Paul), Dothan; son Joey Mims, Dothan; grandsons Chris McGinnis, Dothan; Sam McGinnis, Dothan; Jonathan Peagler, Jackson, MS; Michael Blakney, Jackson, MS; sisters Vickie Sanders, Columbus, GA; Donna Jones, Columbus, GA; Melody Hobson, Greenville, SC; brothers Gene Grantham, Columbus, GA; and Roy Grantham, Phenix City, AL.
Mrs. Morgan's pallbearers will be Carl McGinnis, II, Lee Carpenter, William Gilley, Jimmie Boin, Todd Baxley and Seito Green.
