The former Ashford Academy Falcon put pen to paper and did the deed in front of the entire high school student body in the school's gymnasium.
Even though Turvin helped lead the Falcons to an AISA Class A state championship in basketball this past season, he says getting a chance to play on the gridiron at the next level is everything he could've wished for.
"I love the game of football. It's my life. I work hard on the field and in the classroom, everywhere, I try, I bring competitiveness, I bring everything to the table, I bring it every single practice, I never miss a practice, and I feel like going to Huntingdon is really just going to better me as an athlete and as a person, said Turvin."
In 2012, Turvin, who was a team captain, caught 18 passes for 376 yards and four touchdowns.
He was also given the Falcon Coaches Award and named the most valuable receiver on the team.
