Mrs. Jean McDaniel of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; formerly of Dothan passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013, at the Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Fl following a brief illness.
A private graveside for family only will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Evergreen Cemetery in Panama City, FL.
The family will receive friends at Ward Wilson Funeral Home from 5 to 7 P.M. Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Flowers will be accepted.
Jean grew up in Kingstree, SC; and graduated from Columbia College in Columbia, SC. She taught high school in South Carolina for a number of years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her antiques and antique shopping and collecting antiques.
She is preceded in death by her parents, David Guerry and Rachel Crouch Guerry, son, Guerry McDaniel in 2004, and one sister.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald (Ron) McDaniel of Panama City Beach, FL; son, Tradd McDaniel and his wife, Laura of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Rachel Elizabeth, Tradd Jr; and Amos McDaniel, several nieces and nephews, two brothers-in-law, and one sister-in-law.
