Jesse Ike "Sam" Money

Jesse Ike "Sam" Money, a resident of Dothan, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at his residence. He was 62.
Funeral services for Mr. Money will be held at 1 PM Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Reverend David Baker officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Clayhatchee with Southern Heritage directing. Flowers will be accepted.
Mr. Money was born February 17, 1951 in Coffee County, Alabama and had lived most of his adult life in Dothan. He was retired from the City of Dothan Electric Department where he was employed for 22 years. Mr. Money enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, playing dominoes and spending time with his family and friends. He was a former member of the Houston County Rescue Squad and Houston County Sheriff's Deputy Auxiliary.
Mr. Money is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Gladys Hartzog Money and a brother, Jackie Money.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ruby Miller Money; son, Curtis (Tiffany) Miller, Dallas, GA; daughter, Kim (Larry) Turner, Dothan; two grandsons, Mason and Isaiah Turner, Dothan; two granddaughters, Kendall and Kolbie Miller, Dallas, GA; sister, Mae Tom Snell, Enterprise; brother, Mack Money, Crowley, LA and a host of nieces and nephews.
