Robert Earl Burgess

Robert Earl Burgess of Enterprise, AL passed away Sunday morning, February 10, 2013 at Medical Center Enterprise from an apparent heart attack. He was 46.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday, February 15, 2013 at Westview Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Richburg Cemetery in New Brockton, AL with Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 until 8 pm.
Robert was born June 22, 1966 in Aurora, Colorado at Fitzsimmons Army Hospital. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie Groves and Ethel Mae Burgess, and Robert H. and Kathleen Buford, both of Greenwood, SC, and his father-in-law, James R. Elliott of Enterprise.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Robin Elliott Burgess of Enterprise; children: Kristi, Jennifer, Jeremy, and Kathleen; parents: Smokey and Betty Buford Burgess of Salt Lake City, UT; sisters: Cathy Burgess Green (James) of Sparks, NV, Rebecca Burgess Clingenpeel (James) of Salt Lake City, Utah, Rachel Burgess Gilman (James) of Central Point, Oregon; mother-in-law, Maxine Elliott; sister-in-law, Allison Jackson (Eddie); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
