Loyd Steve Bearry

Loyd Steve Bearry, a resident of Lanett, Alabama, formerly of Dothan, died Saturday afternoon, February 9, 2013, in the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika. He was 56.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 12, 2013, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Larry Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery in Pansey. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the mortuary in Headland.
Steve Bearry was a native of the Camp Springs community of Henry County, son of the late William Chester Bearry and Mary Lee Howard Bearry. He lived in Dothan most of his adult lifetime before moving to Lanett. Steve was retired, due to disability, from AAA Cab Company, of Dothan, as a cab driver. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Kirkland and a brother, Kennard Bearry.
Surviving relatives include three sisters, Brenda Bearry, Lanett, AL; Julia Foster (Robert) Valley, AL; and Erma Temples (Buck), Ashford; two brothers, Kermit Bearry (Lucy), Abbeville; and Edgar Bearry, Cowarts; several nieces and nephews.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Ryan Bearry, Ray Bearry, Blake Temples, Jason Temples, Nick Kirkland and Ricky Kirkland.
