Two Explosives Found; Crime Scene Work Continues

Two explosives have been found today by law enforcement according to new statements by the FBI.
One explosive was found in the pipe while another explosive was found in the bunker. Law enforcement will continue to do a complete search of the grounds near the bunker created by Jimmy Lee Dykes.
WDHN News has also learned today that the bunker was recreated by the FBI so that swat members could rehearse their plan of attack. The attack was a success as Dykes died after a "firefight" with swat team members.
Dykes suffered multiple gunshot wounds according to information provided by CNN. An autopsy is expected as early as next week.
Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson confirmed to WDHN News in an interview this morning that he was not part of the team that took down Dykes and safely recovered Ethan Gilman. Olson said he was able to monitor the situation...but at the same time he was doing an awful lot of praying for that kid.
Media members first noticed efforts being made to the north of their staging site to put up a wall with blue tarps on Sunday afternoon. By Monday morning, law enforcement asked media not to video the tarps and also asked media not to attempt to look behind the blue wall.
Today, ABC News was able to get aerial footage of the bunker site and the media site. The video shows the bunker created by law enforcement.
WDHN also learned that law enforcement had put their plan into motion to take down Dykes before the midday media briefing on Monday. One official said that the press conference was almost cancelled after an almost two hour delay.
During the seven day ordeal, Governor Robert Bentley made a visit to Dothan to check on law enforcement and to visit with little Ethan Gilman's mother. Bentley's visit was never mentioned to the media.
Law enforcement officials also say it's highly unlikely that anyone outside of law enforcement will ever be allowed into the bunker over concerns about the possibility of copycats.
