Mrs. Bonnie Arrington of Slocomb
passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Hartford Health Care. She was 99.
Graveside services will be held
at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, in Tabernacle United Methodist Church with
Rev. Bruce Spivey officiating and with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb
directing.
Mrs. Arrington was born on July
29, 1913 in Geneva County, AL to the late Rev. Joe and Lonie Justice White. She was a member of First Baptist Church of
Slocomb and worked as a nurse for many years.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; her husband: W. F. "Slim"
Arrington; and a daughter: Willie J.
Arrighton; two sisters: Audrey Wilson
and Bessie Carnes.
Survivors include her sister,
Ruby Sorrells of Hartford, and several nieces and
nephews.
