In the most revealing news conference to date, Dale Co. Sheriff Wally Olson on Saturday, said that Jimmy Lee Dykes claims to have an electric heater and blankets inside the underground bunker where a 5-year old boy has been held hostage for 5 days.

Olson also confirmed earlier reports that medication for the boy, along with coloring books and toys had been delivered into the bunker. Earlier reports indicated those items were being sent through a 4" PVC pipe running from the front yard into the bunker. The sheriff thanked Dykes for allowing authorities to provide those items.

Trooper Kevin Cook said the media could expect another news conference at 9:30 tonight. WDHN and dothanfirst.com will remain on scene and update through the day.
