"We are so excited about the extended reach that we will have this season on the radio in the state of Alabama," Alabama head coach Patrick Murphy said. "Chad Haynie is an up and coming radio personality who is very familiar with our program. He will do an outstanding job."

Chad Haynie will call all the action on the diamond for CTSN. Haynie will be in his fourth year broadcasting Crimson Tide softball, after spending the previous three seasons with WVUA-FM.

"I am humbled and honored to call Alabama softball for the Crimson Tide Sports Network," Haynie said. "Coach Murphy and his staff run one of the finest programs in collegiate athletics and I am blessed to get to work with them on a professional level and am looking forward to for years to come."

Softball broadcasts will begin 10 minutes before first pitch and include comments from head coach Patrick Murphy. After each game, the crew will break down game statistics and preview the next matchup. The games will also be available on the internet.
