Mr. Angus Sherman Hudspeth of Dothan passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at
the Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 81.
Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, February 1, 2013, at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, January 31, 2013. Flowers will be accepted.
Mr. Hudspeth was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and a Mason and Shriner.
He was a volunteer Chaplain at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center and local jails. He was married for 52 years. He was also a past deacon at Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Hudspeth and Burnice Jackson Hudspeth, one brother, and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Hudspeth of Dothan; daughter, Cheryl Smith of Dothan; son, Michael Hudspeth and his wife, Karen of Front Royal, VA; grandchildren, Chrissy Wilson, Alan Hudspeth, Nicole Hudspeth, Kim Hudspeth, great-grandchild, Lillian Rose Wilson, and nieces, nephews, and other family members.
