Dale County Standoff Receiving National Attention

The standoff in Dale County quickly became a national story.

In the hours after the standoff began, WDHN began to field calls from all over the country wanting the latest information on the school bus shooting and standoff. Major networks including ABC and CNN began reporting the latest -- using video from WDHN to communicate the story to the rest of the nation.

National crews have now setup shop in Midland City hoping for the best outcome possible. Stations like CNN and Fox have been providing live reports on their national channels throughout the day.

WDHN has worked around the clock to bring you the latest and will continue to do so until the standoff comes to an end.
