The City Showdown has been just as fierce off the field as it is on the gridiron. Both the Dothan High and Northview football teams have been going step-for-step with one another when it comes to players making commitments. The Tigers and Cougars will each have multiple athletes participating on National Signing Day on February 6th.

Two former Dothan High players made their college choice on Tuesday. Left tackle Daniel Hill says he is taking his talents to West Alabama and wide receiver Trey Jackson is headed to Tuskegee.

Hill and Jackson's commitments brings the Tigers total number of players committed to six.

The Cougars currently have seven players set to sign on National Signing Day. Offensive guard James Tillman committed to Benedict College on Tuesday. He will head to college with defensive lineman Corey Whitehurst and tight end Maurice Pittman.
