Ginny Woodham says she wanted to play her college softball in Florida all along. On Monday, the former Wicksburg Panther put herself in a position to make that dream a reality.

Woodham put pen to paper and signed her letter of intent to St. Petersburg College in Clearwater, Fla.

She plans on pitching for the Titans next season where she will join former Headland Ram Brianna Skipper. The two plan on rooming together as well.

Last season, Woodham recorded 136 strikeouts in the 79 innings she pitched.

She batted .457 and hit two home runs.
