Mrs. Hilda Baxley of Newton passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Newton City Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 2 to 3 P.M. Tuesday, January 29, 2013.Flowers will be accepted.
Mrs. Baxley is preceded in death by her parents, Otis German and Nettie Stephens German, her husband, Ben Baxley, daughter, Phyllis Marchman, and four brothers.
Survivors include daughters, Becky Speller and her husband, Derrill of Newton; Kimberly Baxley of Tallahassee, FL; son, Norman Baxley and his wife, Faye of Newton; sisters, Gail Harden of Newton; Elaine Dorriety of Hartford; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
