Jim W. Clark of Houma, Louisiana, age 80 passed away, Monday, January 21, 2013 in Marietta, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 25, 2013 at El Bethel Assembly of God with Rev. Stephen Comer officiating. Burial will follow in Old Tabernacle Cemeterywith Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the MUST Ministeries, P.O. Box 1717, Marietta, GA 30061 or to the Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org.
Jim W. Clark retired from Lockheed-Martin as an aviation engineer and later had a management consultant business in Houma, Louisiana. He was an active member of the First Methodist Church of Houma. Mr. Clark was a veteran and served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was past president of Houma Gideons International.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Emma Florence Clark.
Survivors include son, Buddy Clark and wife, Debbie, Marietta, GA; daughter, Theresa Clark Ridley and husband Tim, Kennesaw, GA; daughter, Alicia Clark Adams, Kennesaw, GA; and three grandchildren, Dani Nicole Clark, Dylan Jacob Clark and Avery Hunter Adams; extended family member, Judy Gwinn , Houma, LA.
