Alabama has won three BCS national championships in the last four seasons and Nick Saban has done the same off the field as well.

The Crimson Tide head coach was given the Bobby Bowden National Collegiate Coach of the Year award today.

Saban also won the honor in 2009 and 2011.

Former Auburn head coach Gene Chizik (2010) is the only other coach to take home the trophy.
